Welcome to the Joey Scouts Unit
Scouts unit is for kids aged 5 to 7 year old.
Discover Adventure
With Joey Scouts in their age group, it is all about discovery and excitement. For many children, Joey Scouts is the first opportunity to have a real adventure! Although Joey Scouts are the youngest of Scouts, Joey Scouts can expect to the opportunity to take part in adventurous activities such as abseiling, archery, bushwalking and water activities such as sailing, canoeing and rafting. All adventurous activities are adapted to be age appropriate and all Joey Scouts will be supported and encouraged by trained Leaders during their adventure.
Joey Scouts are encouraged to express themselves creatively, through games, stories and craft activities. From building monsters and spaceships from scrap items, to growing plants from seedlings and singing songs together, all Joey Scouts develop a strong sense of belonging and an understanding of the world around them.
Joey Scouts learn how to share and care, and help other people.
Our Reguler Meetings
We meet in our Scout Den every week during the school term. Looking forward to seeing you at the Scout Den.
